If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me to realize that illnesses are often psychosomatic (the word psychosomatic refers to physical conditions caused by the mind. It does not however mean they are imaginary which is a meaning that people sometimes have for this word) and that they can be handled. This was really a major breakthrough for me in that I could see a way of helping myself and others to get rid of unwanted bodily conditions. I have seen some major changes from this book.
